Mr. Rondeau is currently employed as the Director of Intelligence for a national anti-terrorism program. Prior to the appointment to this current post, Don served as the Director of Claims & Security for a national transportation support association where he was charged with representing the security interest of the trucking industry.
He routinely interacts with various county, state, and federal cargo theft and terrorism task forces as well as various elements of military intelligences. Mr. Rondeau has a broad and distinguished career having served as a contract investigator for the U.S. Department of the Interior and as chief consultant to the embassies of the States of Kuwait and Qatar.
As former CEO of the publicly traded due diligence corporation Rondeau & Smith, Inc., Don cultivated relationships in the Middle East to include teaming with middle eastern security group Shamco for special projects.
He is former Director of Asset Protection for Boat U.S. and former Director of Loss Prevention for Blockbuster Entertainment. He has worked with and trained various law enforcement agencies and civilian experts alike. Mr. Rondeau is the Transportation Security Advisor for the International Association of Counterterrorism for Security Professionals (IACSP) and was recently named the 2004-2005 Homeland Security Executive of the Year. He is also the National Chief Security Advisor for the Heart of America Quilt Project and Board Member for the American College of Certified Fraud Examiners International, an international team assembled to establish Homeland Security standards.
Through the association’s security certification program, Mr. Rondeau has been awarded the Certified Homeland Security expert designation (CHSIII). Rondeau is a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard.
